Wakefield City Identity

Student Brief

Highlighting the city of Wakefield's best bits to a demographic that otherwise might not know anything about it.

The Wakefield tourism site brings through the elemental colours of the logo, adding in handdrawn type and pops of yellow to reinforce the friendly and welcoming nature of the local people. Dialect phrases create a unique tone of voice that feels engaging and absorbing.

The 'Bobby Dazzler' campaign highlights individual best bits of the city, and uses this dialect phrase to draw viewers in, frame the image and immediately create a light-hearted tone.
